| Tackle: | To catch Poddy Mullet probably one of the fastest ways is with a bit trap. These traps are often clear plastic containers with small hole in the top and some weight to hold it down.
In some states of Australia you can use a cast net.
You can also catch them on small hooks and fine line. A fly rod can be useful for this with some bread flies. |
| Hints: | To catch Poddy Mullet on hooks, burley the water with crused up bread and use a small piece of bread or a bread fly.
To use a bait trap place it somewhere where you know the mullet so it's covered by about 6 inches of water. |
